Overview
The Rtunes Racing HI-CD-05 heat shield cold air intake kit is designed for compatible GM trucks and SUVs equipped with the 5.3L or 6.2L V8 engine. It pairs a high-flow, washable and reusable air filter with a heat shield that helps separate the filter from hot engine-bay air.
The less restrictive intake design supports increased airflow and improved throttle response while adding a deeper intake sound under acceleration. The kit installs using factory mounting points and is available in blue, black or red.
