Works and sounds great, easy to install
I like it. Fit just right for my setup and should help a little with some direct heat. I know it is an optional use item. I wish it came with the air intake kit.
It is always frustrating to be part-way into an installation and discover that critical parts are missing. Today's engines will not run until the Mass air flow sensor is reconnected. Got the red short intake for my 2003 Oz Rally Edition Lancer. Install was actually straight forward. Didn’t need to look at instructions. But I suggest you do to be safe. Install took me 15 mins. Only issue was fitting the piping together, just be patient. I do feel more top end power and my exhaust note is deeper. I would suggest this to my JDM friends..
